It’s May of 1980 in Gwang Ju. Jin Wu’s parents passed away when he was young and he is living with his older brother, Min Wu, who cares for him to a great extent. One day, unexpectedly in their everyday, ordinary lives, an unimaginably awful incident occurs. Innocent citizens are attacked by suppressive force who are armed with guns and swords. Some citizens are even killed. Min Wu and Jin Wu, who lost their friends, lovers, and family members right before their eyes, form a civil army and begin a seemingly never ending fight that goes on for ten days.
